An expert physiotherapist with actionable advice to share

As top sports medicine consultant Dr Cath Spencer-Smith says, “Until you’ve seen Nell Mead, you’ve not done physio!”

With over twenty years’ experience at the cutting edge of physiotherapy practice, including ten years working as a physiotherapist in the British Army, I specialise in helping patients with complex and long-term problems.

Unlike other physiotherapists, I look at the body as a whole, rather than isolating one sore part at a time. This allows me to uncover issues that other therapists might have missed, and to help patients who haven’t been able to find help from anyone else.

My patients have called me “a miracle worker disguised as a physio”, “the muscle whisperer” and one patient even writes:

“Nell is a genius. Like Sherlock Holmes, analysing details others barely see, she unravelled the roots and nailed the culprit.”

When I’m not hands-on with patients, I dedicate my time to teaching others how to take better care of themselves and their bodies: at home, at work, and at play.

I love working with the press and am delighted to comment on relevant stories. To speak to me, please contact the clinic on 0207 175 0150 or email me directly at online@nellmead.com if your enquiry is out of normal office hours.
